Surety Association of Ohio
2nd Quarter Meeting Minutes
June 3, 2003

• Mark Drengler, President, opened the meeting at 6PM with approximately 60 members in attendance at the Golf Club of Dublin. The meeting was very brief since it followed the Association’s annual golf outing.

• Mark Drengler discussed the recent trip to Washington D.C. to the annual SAA meeting. Our goal next year is to be recognized as one of the top local surety associations and to take some hardware home.

• We also did a 50/50 drawing to raise money for our scholarship fund. Approximately $500 was raised and Pete O’Connell from Midstates Surety was the big winner of the drawing.

• There was nothing to announce on any legislative issues.

• The meeting was adjourned at approximately 6:30PM. The next meeting will be held in Cincinnati, OH in September ’03. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
